  Peranakan Dinner @ the Serenade (Martin & Joyce's): Lovely golden yellow in colour. This was gorgeous on the night and could well have gone on for another decade in the bottle. Lovely, explosive nose with macadamias, little bits of cream, little bits of toast bread, white flowers like osmanthus and, with some air, sweet nectarine and a touch of pineapple. Gorgeous palate as well. Lovely development on it, with mature flavours of butter, cream, honey and macadamia nuts gently mixed with a fresh fruit basket of nectarine, white plums, pineapples and red apples along with a ream of minerality that pulled away into the distant finish. Beautiful, rounded balance. Great length as well, with sweet peach and nectarine mingling with the minerality that became more pronounced right at the very tail. Excellent.
