PnP and drank with a rotisserie baked chicken. Very mineral and acid driven bottle with less fruit than an bottle drank about 6 months ago. I personally like more fruit. I will plan to drink my last bottle this year.

Medium lemon-gold colour. Nose is an immediate Bang! of new tennis balls, a bass note of humid oak barrels, a high note of fresh star fruit, iron vitamin pills, a gorgeous sweaty, spicy truffly element too - complex and captivating. Palate is tangy sherbet lemon boiled sweets acidity, saliva-inducing saline fresh-squeezed lemon and a nicely weighted back end of oyster shell and an oaky truffle finish. Good length and resonance. Impressive and very expressive...and terribly more-ish although the acidity came to predominate after a couple of hours in the open bottle. The truffle element was way more noticeable than on the previous occasions I have drank this wine.....and there must have been something wrong with the last one back in May 2013, when I scored it 79 uness it just does this thing with more time in the bottle.

(J.M. Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Truffière) Light lemon yellow color; sesame seed, bird seed, halvah nose; tight, reduction, tart lemon, mineral, chalk palate; medium-plus finish (in blindtasting of six '07 and '08 Chassagne- and Puligny-Montrachets, this one ranked 5th for the group, 5th for me, and garnered a total of 94 points; this had to be faulty in some way as a bottle I tasted just two days before was so much better)

Last bottle of this and wine has really never delivered. Lacks fruit and balance.

Delicious bottle of White Burgundy with no sign of premox. Crisp and bright with nice fruit. Drank with homemade chicken barley soup.
