Tasted at Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK. This is a very light style of pinot and shows young ripe fruit on the nose and palate. Raspberry jam, well balanced, fruity and savoury. Good overall.

Pale garnet in colour. Med(+) intensity on the nose. Tertiary notes of leather and earth, cherry, red fruit, jammy, cedar, vanilla and strawberry. Oh, and Sloe Gin. On the palate it’s a med(+) body. Pronounced intensity and dry. Med acidity. med(Fine) tannin. Good length and well balanced.

opens with struck match, sweet spice, strawberry under plums, slightly gamey notes and a touch of forest floor. Juicy, lovely, fleshy and fresh, touches of savoury spice joins plums, berries (especially strawberry) with slight drying talc textured tannins that play more of a support role, very slight extracted but still the right side of that. Nice.

Decent NW Pinot - mulchy, red fruited, gently spiced. Nothing special but could blossom into something more interesting with age
