Pale gold color, almost clear in the center. Smells of lemon grass, melons and pears. A surprisingly good match for shrimp lo mein. I love the zip and tang of a good GV. This wine explodes in the mouth and lasts a long time for a white. Balance is good, acidic enough for food. My only--small--complaint is this is a smidgen short of the peppery tang that a perfect GV can provide. Blame it on the vintage?
Bought this at a close out for an improbable 5.99.

A touch oxidized. Some grapefruit, apple and mineral notes with a little petrol.

Clear, watery, yellow-green. Muted aromas of mineral, pear, mint, smoke, and grapefruit. Dry, balanced, with a nice finish.
