Cassis black raspberry thyme OK sage iodine and milk chocolate on the nose.
Elegant on the palate smooth with just enough grip. Flavours follow the nose. Lingering black tea cassis and herb finish. Has improved with age. Will try and hold my last bottle for five years.

Bought for CAD 61/b (+ 15% + tip) from the wine list at a local restaurant. If you can find it, best online price for the '18 is CAD 38 ('19 is CAD 32 at the winery) so we thought this was worth a try. Good cork. No decant. Medium purple; mature red fruits, prominent tobacco, bit of oak, that follow on the palate; good mouthfeel. We think Merlot can be an Okanagan highlight, but this was not a good example: tobacco was a problem. Would not buy again. My evaluation (see earlier posts for my 4-category, non-point rating system): This is notable- when considering quality, age, and price in the BCLDB environment (high taxes, highly regulated and protected).

Nez moyennement expressif. Fruit mur et floral. En bouche ampleur moyenne, les tanins sont beaux. Bien fait. Finale sur des notes de cuir
