92-93+. Tasted side by side with the 18 Riserva which was almost as good. This is a fantastic wine. To me this is one that is more accessable at a younger age than previous vintages, but still impressive, solid and worth respect. Nice ruby color. Smoky, dark cherry, red cherry, sweet earth bouquet. On the palate, concentrated with sweet dark cherry ripe fruit with smoke, mineral, earth flavors with a long finish. Good fruit but lots of tannins to support the fruit and great structure so it should be ageworthy. Long finish. Drinks well now, can last to likely 2031. Excelelnt qpr. Cellar selection.

Beautiful precise extract not clearly on the red or black fruit side. I find this a bit behind their GS Ermo Colle of 2016.More than a bit succulent. A great future. A question. I find succulence a really positive measure of the quality of dry red wines. To me it speaks of great balance and a great future. It's a word that seemingly never shows up in these professional reviews. So my question is - is succulence in any way a plus or minus when you taste wines.

Best Assai on a vertical with 13, 15, 18.
More power and structure on this vintage, this will be long lived.

Solid dense concentrated with classic chianti flavors. Really needs the age to show more. Likely best from 2026 to 2031
