It's not actively unpleasant, but it doesn't reward drinking. Insipid once it warms up, has a decent acid spike to it when it's fresh and cold, but it's not deep or complex. I think it's overpriced at £20 from WS, the same money on NZ SB kicks this into a bloody pulp, in every dimension: primary fruit, acidity, minerality, power. I poured the last third of the bottle away once the food was finished.

Loses a mark for the price - unusual for a Wine Society (UK) bottling. It is pleasant enough but a tad insipid.

Rather lovely. Stony and understated; some seaside and grapefruit, then hay, then later again more nettley. Quietly satisfying.
