Ruby on the glass with a nose of ripe red fruit and earthy mushrooms. Low viscosity, ripe acidity, moderate alcohol, and inviting tannins. On the palate, red and black cherry alongside sautéed mushrooms and black licorice. Finish is surprisingly elegant with notes of violet and and diluted black tea.

I got more out of this than some other trackers; perhaps their lukewarm reviews lowered expectations and improved my experience? Either way, a cut above a standard sangio, without killing your wallet.
