Pop n poured. Followed over 5 hours. Last bottle 4 years ago.
Great brassy red fruited earthy aromas with a smidge of wood. Palate shows great acidity and balance. Trace sweetness on palate. All kinds of savory tomato, mushroom, red brassy fruited, musty cherry, dirt.... awesomeness. Finishes long with a little heat.
Should last probably 5-10 more. I'm surprised this was an 03. Fantastic wine.

This wine continues to be in a good place. Great aromatics and secondaries with some mushroom and truffle peeking through. Good acid. Previous notes by Riezin and dfeiner continue to be accurate. This be very interesting over the next 4-5 years.

Dundee Hills Tasting Event In Portland (Portland, OR): Blackberry scents are resolving with age and showing some tomato on the nose, along with some lovely hibiscus scents. Some light chocolate shows on contact with the palate. Dark cherries with an aged character show gently. The acidity is still firm on the finish, and the chocolate sticks around on the tip of the tongue. Solid wine for an 03. Drink up!

excellent aged pinot not characteristic of the hot vintage that 03 was. Tasting notes below accurate describe it. Give it a little gentle air before serving.

Perfumed nose of spices and flowers, raspberry and a bit of cherry and coffee. Medium mouthfeel, rich sweet but soft flavors of berries and cherries. Very nice.
