Full throttle, Leroy nosw of red and black fruit, spice, and a touch of cedar. Crunchy dark fruit on the palate. amazing energy and super expressive. Powerful. Somewhat tart finish.
Pretty tart and stemmy on day 2.

Lovely red fruits, bright acidity, and slightly underripe stem notes. The whole package is very well put together and attractive. I would wait 4-6 years before opening a bottle as gentle but persistent tannins emerge at the finish.

During a Paulee dinner so only brief impressions. You have to admire Lalou Leroy. Here we are in the midst of a hot Paulee in Asia where everyone is throwing around La Taches/Chambertins/Richbourgs and Musignys and then comes this not even mature 1er Cruit from Nuits and steals the show - seriously good. My god! So balanced and complex with cut hay, red fruit, anomalic tones. I guess the market knows as well by now, a 1000USD per pop...
