Great soft spice nose. Not as much definition on the palate, although more fruit came out with time and energy picked up. A simple melody, but enjoyable and I liked this more than expected.

Dark ruby in color, very deep nose of game, spices, slight earthiness, intense red fruit, red flowers, stems and perfume. Medium plus palate with loads of ripe dry extracts. Nicely balanced and starting to enter prime drinking window but no rush to open.

Really highly perfumed wine. Palate is a little thin and clipped. Rich flavors but missing some complexity. Good but not great.
