Very light and easy to drink, but nothing exceptional or really even memorable about the taste. Anything but the landest food will overpower the flavor.

All the things that make you savor a good wine -- body, structure, personality, and more -- are utterly absent here. It literally tastes like a cheap wine cooler without the carbonation. Sweet and flabby and faceless. It does have a rather nice nose of chalky strawberry and grapefruit (though you could probably liken that to Tums), but doesn't back any of that up on the palate.

Light, with some artificial grapefruit and pink rose, along with strawberry, cherry gum and dried ginger on the nose. Very light on the palate, just off dry with med acid, it was lemon-lime and orange for a few short seconds before disappearing. Not bad or offensive, but not for anyone who really wanted to taste the wine.

It had been about 10 years since the last time I'd had White Zin, and in doing a talk on Zin with the staff, I thought it might be interesting to pull it out. There were some pretty aromas of strawberry and peach, but the palate was dessert-wine level sweet, a bit flabby, and lacked any concentration of flavor. Drinking this with any savory food is nuts.
