Day 1 - Attack is southern Rhone grenache-like - raspberry/black berry/baked taro/herbs/wet pebble. Finishes like new world pinot - strawberry jam and hawthorn. Lowish tannin and medium acidity, but enormous intensity. The wine shows consistent optimal ripeness throughout and gentle extraction. 89-90.
Day 2 - everything is converging into earthy wild grapiness (reminiscent of Vitis Coignetiae). Went nicely with difficult-to-pair food such as seaweed flake. 89-90.
Day 3-4 - similar to day 2, but 15% abv sticking out in an unbalanced manner. 88.

Love this-herbal perfume, mid body, gripping but not too much tannin. Medium + finish with crunchy bright fruits melding with everything . Haven’t had a roche before, but would definitely try more

Good wine. Transparent ruby red, but tastes and feels weightier than it looks. Moderately tangy and tannic. Notes of roses, pomegranate, cinnamon, and rubber. Slightly bitter. I scored it 89 because I don’t enjoy the flavor profile, but I appreciate the wine’s character and balanced structure.
