  • Drank again. A lot of sediment. Medium-full bodied, easy drinking style. This time the body has reduced, tannins more smooth, the oak is slightly more present, and rather persistent finish. Floral, juicy black fruits when first opened. Sweet, juicy black fruit and a touch of red fruit and licorice.

  • Good red fruit aroma and flavors and nice balance of acid and tannins. Quite a bit of sediment.

  • Decanted with grainy crystals, surprising for such a young wine. On the nose and palate, notes of cassis, black truffle, blue berry, and liquorice. As with VertdeVin review, licorice and carmelization too. Persistent minerality, moderate acidity, rounded mouthfeel with a rather harsh, juicy, dry finish.

  • This is a seriously good wine. Bought at a large wine warehouse, I’ve never heard of this producer but if I tasted it blind, I’d say it cost 3x what I paid for it. Has very dark color in the glass, a telltale sign of the strong fruit elements to come. On the nose, lots of blue fruit, cassis, tobacco all integrating very smoothly with strong oak. I would’ve possibly even rated it a bit higher if the abundance of oaks hadn’t drowned out some of the other notes. But still pleasant with a nice long finish, and very full bodied. I think this has room to age - not a ton, say 5 to 10 years but if you like approachable Bordeaux at an appropriate price point, this is your wine.

  • Round, plush and polished with a blast of dark, deep red fruits, licorice and espresso. Already delicious, the finish is packed with sweet, ripe, juicy fruits. 90-92 Pts
