I didn't get the very floral nose as it had a green component to it. Very nice weight and mouthfeel, medium to medium-full body. Smooth, more elegant and complex than the cali Syrahs that I've had. A bit of vegetal (green pepper?) comes in and distracts from the otherwise nice finish. After 4 hours in the bottle, no significant change to weight but the green peppers did seem to get stronger. Nice QPR for the $15 I spent.

Incredibly floral on the nose, with touches of mint and autumn spice, this wine has a fascinating aroma. Medium bodied, with a ruby hue, this wine is really one to sit and sniff for a while before throwing down. Lots of cherry and a hint of clove, as well as a touch of cola and again that roasting fall spice. Very nice mouthfeel - more weight than the color and swish would suggest,. Lasting finish of lavender, mint, and tobacco with a deft touch of stewed cherry and steeped tea and spice. This is a really lovely wine and a serious price performer. Miles different from so many other Syrahs, either from the Rhone or cali. Amazing that this is the same grape as so many Mollydookers, Mitolos, and Herman Story's (not that there's anything wrong with that...). Really fascinating and delicious, interesting stuff. Highly recommend for the price.

Mineral notes, mouthful of spice, green pepper, cherry, dark raspberry. Pretty nice balance and structure, red fruits showing up near the finish (which is quite nice, albeit reserved). Overall great value, perfect introductory wine for people looking to try a Syrah-based Rhone wine. foodandwineblog.com

Super spicy nose with red meat. Very floral lively palate with red fruits ( Raspberries, Cherries) and leather. Fine tannic structure, nice finish. Way too young for judgment here. Lets talk about this wine a little further on up the road.

this wine had nothing going on - very flat, no fruit, some decent spice/earth, and short finish. did not get better with time.
