Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 82 points

  • This wine is a little unusual in that it is made from a grape variety more typically associated with port making. This is immediately apparent on the nose, as it's very similar to the nose on a late bottled port. The taste has spice and black cherries, is full bodied, and there's a decent finish. A good wine, went well with steak. Possibly not worth the £10 spent, but still very pleasant for a weekday evening. Liz's pleasure rating is 82.
