Golden yellow. Lemon and honey, steely edge tempered with warmth on the nose. Honeyed warmth on tasting, lemon band, nicely taut and a degree of fineness to it. Warmth and fullness, the acidity is there to give it structure. Good Chardonnay for the cost.

Golden yellow. Peaches, apricots honey and white flowers on the nose. Fleshy fullness, honey and white peaches, a hint of grapefruit and those jasmine notes are picked up on first sips. There is a delicate quality sitting behind too. Rather enjoyable. Good easy Chardonnay.

Hunter Whistlestop 2020 #3 (Hunter Valley): A little struck match and lees stirring. toast, savoury, stone fruit is beneath this with a little sulphur. medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of textured grip dries out the mid palate and front of gums, the fruit is a little lost beneath the structure. Nah.

Rich and round with good structure from the acidity. Unfortunately there's a bit too much and the fruit gets lost. Some air helps immensely.
Medium gold colour.
Medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus, lemon zest, toasted nuts, yellow apple, white peach, grapefruit, marmelade, gun flint.
Pronounced palate.
Medium body, high acidity, medium (+) finish.

Basic Australian Chardonnay, nothing special, not offensive, the colder the better
