  • Very light in colour, a characteristic of verdicchio. The nose exhibits yellow fruits, but also a grassy, slightly sulfuric, sauvignon-like note and strong minerality. The taste is in line with intense yellow fruits and the sulfuric side as well, but the main component is the wet stone like mineral flavour. The mouth feel immediately stands out as very smooth, honey-like velvety. No real sweetness though. The acidity is there, but nicely integrated in the fruit and not overwhelming. This is a refined wine with a clear own character, which could be described as somewhere between a smooth chardonnay and a fine sauvignon blanc with an extra mineral component.
