My first Poulsard single varietal. Light red in color and extract, lighter than Burgundy pinot noir. Cherries and strawberries, balancing acidity, some minerals. Not very complex, but more interesting than plonk and many moderately priced New World reds. Didn’t love it, but might be nice to have around occasionally.

Easy drinking, not my type of wine. Tasteful, low alcohol and nice for a seafood pie.
