  • Quite herbal on nose with oregano and soft mint. Palate is fresh with surprising acidity and savory herbs to balance the black fruits and chewy tannins Well made wine that could benefit from further cellaring Drink now and over next 5-8 years

  • Nose has layers of aromatic notes. Top note of sweet cassis and dark chocolate, followed by the middle tone of fresh fennel and toasted spices, and ended with an earthy undertone. Quite a complete profile to tell you that they are serious in their blending and the use of oak. The entry palate to the medium-bodied mid-palate is fresh, rich and smooth at the same time. A touch more herbaceous note surfaced in the mouth to balance the fruit sweetness. The transition from mid-palate to finish is less impressive, some hollowness towards the end. This wine probably needs more time for the elements to come together and develop its depth. Good nose, attractive entry but let down by a weak finish. Keep for a few more years. 89-91 pts.
