  This is developing into a wonderful wine and while it can be drunk now I recommend holding off if possible. Purchased in restaurant and slow oxidated over the course of the evening to pair with white truffle, it took a good two hours or more to open and I don’t think it fully did. It remained tight throughout but did release wonderful roses on the nose. Also tobacco, earth and tar. As it opened it took on a very lithe and elegant structure, distinct from the initial tight and indistict package it started with. This is the wine in which the palate is equal to or more complex than the nose. I look forward to trying this again in the coming years. 91-92 points now.

  Wonderful balance between being rich and being the tight majestic queen with sexy coarse perfume, distinctive rose bush, against dried autumn leaves, mushrooms, red concentrated berries and dried fruit edge. Beautiful touch on this great wine with blurred perfumed redberry fruit, juicy orange peel, fiery coarser fruit peel, deeper salts, coarser spices and light tar on a marked and tougher finish. Great acidity and tannin structure. Lots of life in this wine for the future. Great wine.
