  The ‘Fosilni Breg’ (means 'fossils mountain' in Slovenian language) is an attractive Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from the shell limestone soils of the Slovenian part of Tement’s famous Zieregg single-vineyard. Very pale straw yellow in color with silver reflections. On the nose fragrant scents of white berries, ripe pear and gooseberry fruit, some delicate smoky nuances and abundant mineral accents. The medium-bodied palate reveals a very pure dry wine that is dominated by juicy citrus, lychee and grapefruit and supported by a lively acid structure. Convincing, refreshing aftertaste. Drinking window: now–2027. Beautiful label showing a sea star fossil found in the Ciringa (Zieregg) vineyard.
  
  De 'Fosilni Breg' (wat in het Sloveens 'fossielenberg' betekent) is een aantrekkelijke Sauvignon Blanc, geteeld op de kalksteenbodems van het Sloveense deel van de beroemde Zieregg-cru van Tement. Zeer licht strogeel van kleur met zilveren schakeringen. In de neus: duidelijke aroma’s van witte bessen, rijp peer- en stekelbesfruit, wat delicate rokerige nuances en een overvloed aan minerale accenten. Een middelkrachtige, bijzonder pure droge wijn die wordt gedomineerd door sappig citrus-, lychee- en pompelmoesfruit en geschraagd door een levendige aciditeitsstructuur. Overtuigende, verfrissende afdronk. Te drinken: nu–2027. Prachtig etiket dat een zeesterfossiel afbeeldt, gevonden in de Ciringa-wijngaard (Zieregg).
