  Hardly budging from the where it stood in 2020 and 2016, it’s still loaded with bloody and braised beef, olives and brine, and heaps of blackberry and black cherry.
  
  Powerful from the first sniff through the long finish. Still youngish and probably a decade to go at least.

  Rich extracted but still alive. You would not kick this "old man"out of bed. He's got some maturity you don't find in the younger wines. On more bottle and we'll wait a minute until we're ready for another real ride.

  From a pristinely stored bottle, this was stellar tonight. Iron, meat, dark berries, dense, rich but still perfectly balanced. An absolutely stunning wine!

  My brother Allan says it is a 98 — “There is no flaw in this wine.” Seductive aromatics … a finish that seemed to go on forever. The wine had minimal sediment. Shows no sign of age. Decanted and hour before drinking.
