The wine looks ruby colored with a little purple. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like ethanol with hints of melon . It tastes like a tart plum. The body is light/medium. The wine has angular texture and finishes short with medium acidity. Light young wine to accompany Thanksgiving dinner, however, I prefer wines to have more tannins and probably not purchase this one again.

This has a really nice red fruit profile with just a bit of funky Beaujolais spice. Easy-drinking, as Beaujolais should be. This is a great example of what is possible in the Villages category. Lovely wine. Drink it young. - 88 points

At Martha and Ricks. More of a cross between gamay and Pinot noir, with strawberry flavor not as bright as in other beaujolais I’ve had. Delish with leg of lamb for lunch.

Correct and delightful, with tart red fruits and a crisp, linear texture. Could use a bit more sap, but for the price, this was tough to beat.

No formal notes, but no complaints at Thanksgiving.
