My prior note holds. More approachable than any other Paolo Bea regardless of age. Milk chocolate, earth/mineral and cherry. Slightly sour but less so than other Bea labels.
Initially very chalky, not in a bad way— but an interesting flavor and textural experience . Big fruit lurks and while drinkable now, it’s a tad on the early side. The wine held up for two more nights and the power did not fade. A strong cellar contender .

Notes of chocolate, cherries, red berries with balanced and integrated tannins. Powerful and thoroughly enjoyable.

Much cleaner than the 2015. Dark plums, espresso, chocolate and mineral. Drinking great now after a few hours open.
