  • This one just keeps getting better. Acidity is still vibrant, oak and tannins are integrating further, but fruit is still primary and luscious. This is the ideal Sonoma Pinot IMO.

  • Wow, what a stunner. It was a bit flat for the first few minutes, but after a 1-hour decant it blossomed into an absolute monster. Soft, luscious tannins with just about as much oak character as I care for in a Pinot, perfectly balanced with the vibrant acidity of the fruit. Mouth-watering is an understatement. Excellent concentration with a beautiful dark violet color. Rose, lavender, and cola on the nose with bright red berries and tart cranberry leading the palette, followed by smokey game notes and a lengthy, mineral-tinged finish. Unbelievable pairing with duck confit and cassoulet of beluga lentils. Excited to try the next bottle in a few more years.
