  • So this is deemed a Bordeaux (79%) and Rhone (21%) Blend with the highest hitters being Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. I drank this quite a few years ago and had good memories. Clearly my memory is fading since this was far from anything special. The nose has notes of Wild blackberry, dark plum, dark florals and spice, slightly more on the ripe side and slightly raisony. The palate was medium bodied, which initially hits hard with dark ripe fruit and spice, the alcohol hits as well, it says 14.5% well that is BS, it is probably more 15.5%. The mid palate is just soft and washy, at which point the wine falls apart, it's a mess, there is no structure to this. This is probably the worst wine I have tasted for a while. Interesting the 'critics' tend to think this is good...90 from Jeb, 90 WS, 91 from WE. I am giving this 85, which is about as low as I go. I would be disappointed if I paid $15 for this, I paid $30.

  • Assez ample et lourd, le boisé est fort présent,
un peu trop surfait et maquillé.
    Pas aimé!

  • This red blend from Columbia Valley is easy drinking and tasty.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with mild complexity.

Showing black fruits with earth, wood, spices, chocolates, light vegetables, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco and black pepper.

A good everyday wine to sip on by the porch. Tangy and spicy.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and crackers.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    89 points.

    $22.

  • Purple in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose of black plums, black currants, oak, spices, tobacco, vanilla, licorice, light alcohol, blueberries, light earth, pencil lead, coffee, chocolates and peppercorn.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.

Short finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a young red blend from Columbia Valley. Fruit forward with a nice mouthfeel.

A good everyday wine to sip on by the porch. Easy drinking, tangy and interesting.

Good now, and will be better in a couple of years. Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

A blend of 45% Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Syrah and Grenache. Aged for 9 months in neutral oak barrels.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    90 points.

    $22.
