Agree with the other comments: fairly sharp and tannic. After ~2 hours, it improved greatly, and offered ripe strawberry, pink peppercorns, cherry skin, and the fruit seemed to intensify to keep up with the structure. I'm in no rush to drink the second bottle of mine.

Agree with Stet on this one. Not your typical Gamay. This is muscular and angular. Very much a food wine. Not a fruity expression. Think if Gamay and Bordeaux had a baby? The owner worked at Chateau Latour in her time, so maybe that is influencing the wine? Sort of a brute, next bottle I'd like to see with some air and some tender beef cuts. Not bad, but could be better. More enjoyable with air.

Medium ruby color. Dark, stone fruit aroma and a bit jammy. Slightly odd chemical taste, that only lasted one sip. Opened this to pair with some Valdeon blue cheese, with which it worked quite nicely. Tasted better the second night.

Fairly well structured, and it’s decent but doesn’t have the fruit or aromatics to match, just some modest rustic earthy character. Improved for an hour or two of hair then started to soften and fall off. A food wine, good with burgers.

88 Points. We didn't love it, though it was drinkable. Much better with food, lamb in our case, than on its own.
