Good bottle. No PREMOX although I thought I caught a whiff of oxidation early but it blew off. Nose of honeysuckle and nuts -- maybe macadamia plus some walnut. Nice rich mouthfeel with maturing flavors of honey and butterscotch. Peaked after a half hour in the glass. After 2-3 hours sitting out started to tire. Probably should have drank it 5 yrs ago, but it was still not too bad. And I've had better bottles. Let's face it -- older white burgs are a risk!

Loved it, one of the fortunate few 2000s (at least in my experience) that wasn't off. Great butterscotch, cream, maybe green apple, yet with a nice backbone of acidity. Glass I had two hours after opening had opened up and was even better. Not sure how many years left, but this is still singing....would think it's good for 5 at least.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Very differnet than the Boillot and Drouhin next to it but no less interesting. More green apples, racier, apple cider, more acidc as well, not quite the stuffing, but good buttery finish, gained with time. Wow as well.
