  Mature, complex nose with a fair amount of peach, tropical fruit, pineapple, hazelnuts, honey hints. Weight and power with perfectly balancing acidity. This was sensationally good and showed no sign of oxidation, something that worried me as it was bought at an auction about year ago. In perfect shape.

  La bouche est un magnifique alliage de puissance et de finesse, aucun arôme boisé, que du fruit avec une belle minéralité, une excellente longueur. Un vin racé, qui laisse une impression de noblesse. 94 pts

  Casual (Mostly) Burg Dinner with Friends (Paris Club - Chicago IL): So much better vs another bottle from the same case from earlier this year, tonight's bottle had the ripe charm of the 2005 vintage with good concentration and well balancing structure throughout. Very impressive now, with then potential to age gracefully over the next 5+ years.
