Served blind. Still fairly dark mulberry purple and not quite crystal clear. Big alcoholic with lots of overripe black cherry and a surprising amount of tannin. By no means an elegant or balanced wine it otherwise has a lot to offer. I assumed an older Martinelli or Turley and only later came to Ravenswood. Should’ve recognized the Dry Creek fruit?

Also pleasantly surprised! There is not much spice in this Zin, but there is still a decent amount of red fruit left. Smooth tannins. Not a blockbuster, but was enjoyable.

Dark red berries. Still at lot of punch. High alcohol, but fairly well integrated. Good Zinfandel.

This wasn't very good. The bottle wasn't properly stored and probably suffered as a result
