When I opened this bottle, I experienced a wonderful citrus nose, great texture and mouth feel. After enjoying that glass, I corked and refridgerated the bottle. Finished the next day with turkey, and a lot of the aroma had vanished. I think the drinking window was pretty accurate (2010). If you have a bottle, finish it in one sitting! All in all, at the bargain price I bought this at, I was very happy.

Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of diesel, yellow pear and yellow apple. Flavors of yellow apples and yellow pears. Medium acidity, light to medium body. Short finish. Drink now.

Staff Favorites (Farpointe Cellar): This wine had a load of lychee fruit and peaches. There was also pineapple and citrus. At the end was some honey. The palate was thick and buttery, but not too much. It had the same flavor profile as the nose. Tasty, but not much going on besides fruit.

Agree with previous commenter: This screams "New World," but is delicious. Nose of ripe apple, oak, minerals, and some alcohol. Well-structured, with intense apple, vanilla, minerals, and stone fruits on the palate. Long finish of apple and vanilla, with flinty notes. At the close-out prices I've seen, I'd definitely pick up more.

Saturday at Farpointe: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (Farpointe Cellar): Very buttery, full bodied Chardonnay. The oak bites a little on the finish. Rich fruit flavors are well integrated.
