Dark, heavy nose that is filled with strawberries and cherries. Wood and earth , a bit of eucalyptus and a very lingering aftertaste. Nicely balanced food wine.

This is a big wine, toscano, and it is great by itself or with a meal! fruit. Cleansing, nice acidity, tannins. red fruit. great after taste and it handles everything you can eat!

have had this many times. always a nice accompaniment to an italian dinner, as it was this time. A little more attack in the mounth as the tannins hit a little too hard, but certainly not abrasive. The merlot/cab/ sangio blend is nicely woven with tart acid and nice oak treatment. A good value driven tuscan for about $20.

Good wine. Nice acidity with some red fruit and quite decent tannins. Slight off smell @ first but then it got better after 30min.

Nice blend and very good with a eggplant parm. Not too much garlic or heavy spice, just the tomato base. Wonderful match!
