  Light and elegant, yet intense style, leather, black cherries, liquorice, anise and vanillin, the fruit component is good especially considering the vintage. Sauvory character, mouth drying tannins but fruit and acidity are sufficient to provide balance. Lengthy finish. Traditionalist typicity. Very enjoyable now, probably not the strongest vintage but can be stored, this has good midterm cellaring potential.
