Agree with TN that wine is mossy and closed-- it seemed better when I tasted the same bottle a year earlier. Even the 04 version seems less "green" currently. I suspect the 05 vintage will improve with bottle age, but overall seems unbalanced.

Lovely this time around. This seems to be the prime time for this bottle. Cherries and raspberry on the nose. A lively acidity, a mineral touch on the palate. Nice, open finish. Wish I had more.

For some reason, I enjoyed this wine more when it was younger, in late 2008. Right now it's closed down and much tighter than I remember. The fruit is pushed back and it's a little mossy. On the other hand it has nice acidity and a lengthy finish. Was considerably better with food (fried chicken, mashed potatoes and collard greens) than without.
