  • Nothing reminiscent of pinot noir and nothing pleasurable. Slightly bitter red table wine, nothing more. Over the hill (already?!) or bad bottle? I don't know, but I will be giving these away if the next bottle is not 180 different.

  • A slurper. A medium density, hearty Pinot Noir that I believe most people would enjoy. The wine is substantial and round. I don't recall what I paid for this. I only know that the price was reasonable and now, I'm so glad the wine is in my glass. Thank you Cameron Hughes!

  • PnP’d from cellar, er, basement at 63 degrees. Initially light weight but pleasant. Put on weight in the glass and was starting to show by the end of the glass. Left in decanter overnight at room temp and the wine continued its evolution from the previous night. Red fruits, fine tannins and a medium-long finish. Good on its own or with a pasta dish. For drinking in the near future decant for at least an hour, and longer is better. Another great value from dN.

  • Fantastic wine! My wife and I loved it! Newbie on dN, but so far the best one I've tried. I would buy again but it seems sold out....

  • I would say this a bit more ripe and vibrant than typical WV Pinot noir. Nose of fresh, bright red and blue fruits and a decent amount of oak. Relatively calm entry with bright fruits and a noticeable wood. Medium+ finish. A tad astringent.

Overall, a nice wine but somewhat non-descript; it screams new world, but the underlying fruit is high quality, if used in a less than moderate barrell regime

Day 2: the fruit is a bit more candied, the oak has settled, and there’s a bit more bling spice. Pleasant wine, but not one to go deep on.
