FC1910 Visits Madrid; 4/24/2019-4/28/2019 (Madrid): Aged in old barrels of oloroso sherry wine. This kind of characteristic gives it a character that is outstanding, aromatically delicious, balanced and very long. Perhaps a clear example of how fans of sherry, armagnac and cognac may be are missing something really good, CT fellows included. Btw this gold thing is wrong, who cares?

Poor Excuses (Taberna Palo Cortado - Madrid): Same point of view than 27.04 recent TN.
My Mexican namesake agrees. This is a different style than platinum.
Mismo punto de vista que en la reciente nota del 27.04.
Mi tocayo mexicano está de acuerdo. Es un estilo diferente al del platinum.

A Too short Visit to Wine and Tapas Paradise; 4/24/2019-4/28/2019 (Iberia Business Class, Cuenllas, La MAMA, La Tasqueria, Palo Cortado, Iberia Business Lounge Madrid): First I have to admit that I am not a lover of spirits, but this one, bottle number 289 from 800, great to finish this 10(+?) course menu, agded in sherry casks, when tried a recommended Whiskey, this one is more likely for me, maybe its the additional adding of the sweetness, who knows, great bottle, but again, spirits is not mine....

Jerez 1: Bodegas Emilio Hidalgo and Tradición (Jerez de la Frontera, Spain): Medium brown color. Heat on the nose with elements of toffee and caramel. Smooth on the palate, some slight burn; a good but relatively standard spanish brandy.
