  Double decanted and back in wine fridge for 2 hrs prior to serving. Dark purple color. Tobacco, slight BO, blackberry, mocha on the nose. Fairly strong acidity with blackberry, wet soil, a hint of herb on the palate and ~35 sec finish. Reminded me of Mt Veeder but a bit dustier. Felt that this was better with food than without. QPR so-so in my opinion.. not a bad wine but not the most complex either at this price.
