  Tasted from the WBTG selection at Livia Restaurant in Geneva (IL).
  Pleasant drinking, Ruby red in color, medium bodied, fresh red currant fruits accented by hints of strawberries and cherries with notes of violet, leather, spices, tobacco and hints of mocha supported by the typical tangy acidity of Sangiovese with long elegant tannins.

  First of a case. Have always found Casaloste a dependable producer.
  
  Nose of balsamic, cooked tomatoes, chocolate and old leather.
  Palate brings dusty terracotta, spices, rich dark cherry and plum. Fine but reasonably pronounced tannins and high acidity.
  
  This is really nice and balanced Chianti and paired really nicely with bucatini carbonara. This is great now but will no doubt improve.
  
  Compared to the Isole e Olena 2018 Chianti this is much more balanced.
