  • Chatham. Poor man's DRC perhaps, and has the gravitas of a very good white Burgundy. Excellent acidity, big mouthfeel.
A tinge of oxidative component and small mount leftover the next day was not good, so based on this bottle drink up and enjoy now.

  • I found a bote of this in the cellar. I brought it to a classic french restaurant called restaurant micheal fror a sole/lobster in crute dish. This exceeded my expectations. The oak was visible but integrated. The fruit was lush but balanced with ample acidity. Just well made.

  • The wine showed substantial secondary and no pre-ox. The aromas and palate exceeded expectations in terms of the complexity and mouth-feel that was offered in this wine, but the finish was hot and dominated by alcohol - more along the lines of expectations for a wine at this level. Almost...good. Sent most of it to the kitchen. :)

  • This bottle's cork was worse than the last, but I think the wine was a bit better. Pretty delicious given the price point, and typically white Burgundy. White fruit (pineapple?!?) and minerals. A nice roundness to the fruit to balance the acidity. I'll still drink the rest of my bottles soon, but I'm guessing pristine bottles are safe for a fairly long while (depending on your view of premox, of course).
