acid a bit high if served too cold. seems to be scattered. many other cali blends in this price range that balance the aromatics, roundness, crispness, and fruit better.

[NB: This wine is no longer a product of Bonny Doon Vineyard. Big House is now a label in its own right] Nice white blend with a clear greenish gold color. All of the typical fruity and floral white wine essences and flavors come through with a slight creamy finish. The viognier taste is quite prominent making this a somewhat "masculine" white (I'm generally a red man) that will stand up to the smoke flavors of outdoor cooked chicken and especially grilled or fried white-fleshed fish. A pairing with strong cheese, dried berries, and nuts might be nice, too.

Opened for Mom and finished over the next few days. Acid had faded somewhat by the time I got to try it.
