Not a bad red wine from the Finger Lakes of NY. Minimal oak influence, and vinified for early drinking. Good every day drinking, considering the price point. The white wines are better.

Pretty weird, TBH. Mainly I get this candied element, almost as if this was carbonic. Not something I loved. There’s an undercurrent of smoke and earth, but it is borderline overwhelming. Better 2nd day. Though I didn’t love this, I wouldn’t mind revisiting in a year or two; have a feeling it could improve.

I enjoyed this wine a year ago at the winery but it is not in a good place right now.

Ripe fruits like cherries in the bouquet. On the palate primary ripe fruits and ok acidity. Mild tannin.
