  • A good effort in a poor year in the Finger Lakes of NY. A little thin, but still a very pleasant wine to drink. Vegetal quality very evident. If you find this quality objectionable, this wine is not for you. Good acidity and finish.

  • Clean & well-made, but somewhat lacking in concentration. Definitely going for a juicy, red fruited, fruit-forward style with none of the classic green/pyrazines (which I personally like and kind of miss here). As it opened up over the course of the night it became a touch disjointed -- acidity just a little too tart/sour and chalky tannins the didn't quite feel in touch with the weight/mouthfeel. Certainly not a bad wine, but nothing I'd return to during this vintage.
