Bright ruby red, muted dark berry nose, medium-bodied. Disappointingly dull; fruit had subsided, and not nearly as interesting as prior tastings would suggest. I don’t consider Hirsch to be “party wine” but rather more special and interesting, and this bottle was “meh” — if I had been served this at a large social gathering it would have been okay, but not what we expected.😔

This wine: Wine no 31 was an outsider and the last wine of the tasting dinner. Typical style. No rating and further notes.
