Red brown colour Rich nose, baked bread, ginger, pecan nuts , orange peel and a touch of acetone. Lots going on, but nothing quite prepares you for the palate: it’s almost painfully intense. Massively rich and salty, mouth puckering acidity, rasping. It then opens up with hazelnuts and toffee and a finish that goes on for a good 15 minutes. It’s quite an experience. It needs suitable food like jam in iberico or a salty manchego. If you’re having it on I try own approach as you would an old cognac or single malt. Quite an experience.

Extremely intense and thick. Dry, rich with a kick of sea salt. Looong finiish.
Fantastic wine.
