My last of 6 bottles. The aromas are still lively and fresh, but the taste… the fruit is starting to fade a bit, leaving a more austere wine. I like these on the fresher side. Tanins are fully integrated, so to my taste I’d recommend drinking sooner rather than later, although that seems to go against popular opinion.
This bottle, from a particularly cold cellar, is in a classic, confidence-building, relative dumb phase. Sticky cherry pits, smashed for their marzipan wax, erupt from stoic bedrock; shoe polish; licorice; edible moss sensations enact umami and meat. Very clean and geologically transparent. Slathered with raspberry resin. I'd wait until late 2025 to drink another 2019, out of prudence. ________ 24 hours later, 3/5-full resealed tabletop, not unexpectedly it is more coherent. That little complex of ester and tar (pitched yeast?) wants to metabolize though. I'll wait until 2025-2026 to drink another bottle. Mind you, it tastes delicious, especially with dinner.

No grower Nouveau for Oklahoma, so we celebrated with a Cuvée des Ambassades, lovely wine, still drinking well, Yum! (And the Peugeot PSV-10 was a wonderful ride before dinner, pic #4)

In a great place as other recent reviews are noting. An outstanding price-performer = am not hoping to get this wine at such favorable pricing going forward. PnP'd and this was open and accessible from the first sip. Drinking as food prep wine without food. DAY 2 - fell out of balance and much less enjoyable.
