  • Day 2. This is excellent. Crisp and racy with great flavor. Lime, slate, white flowers, minerals, some spices, mint. Excellent on the palate with tons of lime and minerals, some mint. Sleek and ripping with great poise. Delicious and exciting. The finish is lots of lime and minerals - very electric. This seems two steps up from the Kabinett Feinherb I had. I only bought one bottle of this and that was a mistake. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je be Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17/20.

  • This checked all the boxes for what I'm looking for in Riesling. Explosive aromatics, a lightness on the palate driven home with electric acidity, balanced by just the right amount of sweetness. Ripe fruits but totally in check. The formal qualities are there too--complexity, length, age worthiness--but most importantly, it's downright delicious and puts a smile on my face.
