Really impressed by the level of quality here. I agree with the other note that days that this needs time but I love what I taste already. Medium red/purple color. Nose is subdued but you still get some raspberry, rosemary and kirsch. On the palate this is elegant, not a heavy jammy CdP at all. Raspberries and strawberries. Garrigue, spice and kirsch. Grippy tannins and quite a lot of them, 3 hours of decanting helped. With more time this will show incredibly and I can't wait to see it then.

The tannins on this wine will rip your face off. At this stage in its life it needs to be paired with the big fat steak because from the mid to end palate there's a significant drying. It is grippy. It shows good acidity and richness of fruit.
This was served blind and all thought it was a Bordeaux blend, the question was left bank with petite verdot or right bank with cab franc. Both were fantastic guesses. It's shocking to me that this one is more than 60% grenache because there is no sign of cherry, maybe the syrah and other varieties are driving the flavor profile.
This will never be confused with a big sloppy, pruney CndP.
Probably be spectacular in 10 years.

Stunning and redolent, with a concentrated core. Raspberry, cassis, grarrigue, tarragon, tomato leaf, plums and sandy stone. A finish that sails on, with layer upon layer of delicious red fruit. There’s some tension and this mesmerizing middle palate. Complex and dense, with the ability to age for a long time. A true beauty. Drink 2025 - 2040.
