Medium ruby. Red cherry and orange slices on the nose. In the mouth, black cherry and cranberry fruit with high pitched acidity. Medium fine tannins mingle with sharp acidity in the mid. Black pepper, balsam, oak in the finish. Mine is still a bit wound up, and the oak and acid are a bit too dominant at this point.

New to me. This is rather good. Young of course but nicely balanced, clean, modern but in a good way. There’s nothing flashy, or souped up here, so this is good drinking wine. Some American oak, some acid, some tannin, all good.
Tempranillo flavour is good, but quite simple, refecting its youth.
Enjoy now but should very much reward cellaring for 3-5 years and then checking.
13.5% 👏, cork.

Have had something between 10-20 vintages of this. Never disappoints. What a great wine at this low price point. Below USD 20 here in Europe. Acidicity is marked, but so are the tannins. Oakiness, yes, but in a good way. That cellar is starting to grow in the flavour. Will buy 12 of these and age them for a decade or more.
