Rather ripe and dark fruited, with more of a black cherry and even currant profile. Pleasant and plush on the palate, lacks delineation and focus as it transitions into the finish. Quite pleasant and an easy drink.

Marsannay can be more than Pinot Noir... And this certainly seems to have the "more".
Upon first sniff, it's very young, and it's almost Gamay-like. It's been a long while since I've had this wine. It's Burgundy and Pinot Noir, but not Burgundian, if that makes sense. It's forward. Green. Unpolished. Needs to open up, but I'm uncertain it will be long lived enough to experience that.
Pale ruby intensity with very bright red cherries and raspberries, green apples and grass. It's dry. Without the elegant Burgundian mouthfeel. I've 5 more bottles. I'll be interested to see how and if this develops more... At this moment, I think not.
Pinot Noir 13% abv
This is a strange wine in my opinion, but..... It's another tasting experience or milepost, along life's highway. Addendum - I've talked to several fellow wino's who love this wine and think I'm completely bonkers! I guess it's that bias from decades prior. Alas, I'll leave everyone to Marsannay. I'll continue elsewhere. Cheers
PS- Drink the Rainbow!!

Very nice wine, aromatics evolved and opened up over a few hours. Nose of cherry, rasberry and a hint of leather. Medium bodied with bright and balanced acidity. Palate is smooth with strawberries, cherries and a light grilled meat finish. Great value!

Ripe and lush, with a dark cherry profile. Quite drinkable if with a ripe profile.
